I’m an entrepreneur, digital marketing enthusiast, and technology lover passionate about helping brands make a big impact and changing the world through ventures of my own.
I’m currently co-founder of Vetcove, the fastest-growing ordering platform for veterinary hospitals, and one of the most exciting companies in animal health. We’re having an immense impact helping veterinary hospitals, zoos, aquariums, and humane organizations reduce inventory costs and maintain profitability. Vetcove is quickly becoming the single source for veterinary organizations to research and buy, and we have big plans to change the way all B2B supply chains operate by combining forward-thinking technologies, machine learning, and community.
Over the past several years, I’ve worked with Fortune 500 companies in the pharma, radio, and software industries to educate executives in digital strategies and create organizational structures that thrive in our fast-paced digital world. We’re particularly proud to have helped several consumer and pharmaceutical brands at J&J maintain market leadership through digital innovation.
Through the GRX network I created, I’ve worked with universities like Rutgers, Baruch, the Digital Marketing Institute, and Syracuse to develop executive education programs in digital disciplines, and often teach in MBA and certificate programs at these institutions. We’ve educated executives at J&J, Roche, Fujifilm-Sonosite Microsoft, and Verizon on-site at their corporate locations in four continents.
My areas of personal interest and expertise include educated digital consumer behavior, mobile strategy, eCommerce and mCommerce, and content strategy. I also enjoy introducing organizations to cutting edge topics like our connected world (IoT), VR/AR, gamification, and the factors that influence shareability and virality of content. I’ve led panels and spoken at industry conferences on many of these topics.
In the last eight years, I’ve been involved in the founding of several organizations, including a social calendar, an angel investment group, and a digital marketing network. I have a deep passion for utilizing emerging technologies to solve business problems.
In May 2013, in partnership with publisher McGraw Hill, I completed the manuscript for my first book, entitled Strategic Digital Marketing, which hit shelves in October of 2013. I wrote chapters on The Digital Paradigm, Digital Strategy, Mobile Marketing, and Digital Transformations, with the remaining nine chapters contributed by some of the most talented firms and consultants in digital today. Our book hit category bestseller lists in nine countries, and is required reading in more than a dozen MBA and executive education programs.
In my free time, I enjoy tennis, skiing, meeting new people for coffee, and tinkering with the latest hardware. I live in New York, NY with my wife Laura.
